Get Active with ASHS Sport & Recreation
At ASHS, there are plenty of ways for students to get involved in sport and physical activity — whether you want to compete, train, or just have fun moving with friends. Our winter sports programme offers opportunities in Basketball, Hockey, Football, Netball, Volleyball, and Badminton, giving students the chance to play competitively, develop skills, and be part of a team. To support these programmes, we run a Strength & Conditioning programme on Thursday mornings, helping athletes build fitness, strength, and confidence for their sport seasons.
Students can also join Run Club (teamreach code: ASHSRC2026) on Wednesday mornings or Gym Club to access the school gym and work on personal fitness goals. For girls who want a fun, inclusive, and non-competitive way to move, our Motion programme offers Bootcamp sessions, skating, and other movement-based activities that encourage confidence, connection, and healthy habits.
With so many ways to get involved, there’s something for everyone — join a team, try a new activity, or simply move for fun and wellbeing!
