Motion at ASHS
Physical Activity Programme
Motion is a physical activity programme that empowers our wahine students at ASHS to get active, improve their Hauora (wellbeing), and be ambassadors for physical activity. We move our bodies for the love of being active in a non-competitive, supportive environment.
The sessions are co-designed with students and aim to create a social community where they feel confident and comfortable moving their bodies.
Activities that students participated in last year included roller skating, bootcamps, nature walks (hot girl walks), pole fit and pilates classes.
Days: Tue & Thu mornings before school - activities are on rotation
